(Fort Washakie, WY) – American Legion Richard Pogue Post #81 has planned a Veterans Day Ceremony on Thursday, November 11th at 11 am. The ceremony will take place at the new Path of Honor – Wind River Veterans Memorial in Fort Washakie.
According to the Eastern Shoshone Tribe, there will also be a Veterans Day Breakfast from 7-11 am on the 11th. The location has yet to be determined; however, information will be shared on their Facebook page and website when it’s available.
The Path of Honor is the first memorial in Wyoming to honor Native American Veterans and was officially dedicated in August.
