(Riverton, WY) – Mark your calendars, folks! The count down to First Fridays in Riverton has begun. On the first Friday of every month beginning in May from 5-7 pm enjoy local shopping, food and drinks, events and more.
County 10, Jack FM, the Riverton Chamber of Commerce and the Riverton Ambassadors have teamed up to launch this monthly event. Many local businesses will stay open later and offer deals and specials – make sure you check with your favorite spots in Riverton to see if they’re participating!
Need another reason to come out on May 7th? First Friday Bingo will make its debut! Pick up your card at any of the featured locations below, the Riverton Chamber of Commerce or County 10’s office on Friday – they won’t be available before or after. Visit the featured businesses on the card and make a purchase to get a stamp. If you get enough stamps you can turn it in at the Riverton Chamber to be entered in a drawing for a $100 10 Spot gift card!
A BIG Bonus is that to help launch First Fridays, local Riverton personality John Dilday has donated the meat from a buffalo hunt to be raffled. All the First Friday Bingo cards collected in May, June and July will be entered to win a quarter of the buffalo – with one quarter also going to Eagle’s Hope in Riverton. Thanks, John!
If you’re a business and you haven’t heard about First Fridays and you’d like to know more, shoot County 10 an email at email@example.com.
If you’re a local who wants to enjoy all that Riverton has to offer, check out the directory below to see what our Featured Businesses are doing (we’re just launching this fun new event, so some of them are still putting their promotions together)!
Don’t feel like driving to all the businesses around town? County 10 and WRTA Bus Lines have teamed up to offer a FREE shuttle service from 5-7pm on First Fridays. The Featured Businesses on the map below are the stops for the WRTA bus (which again, is FREE to use on First Friday from 5-7pm)
We’ll keep you updated over the next week with fun things happening! Let’s get out and enjoy the sunshine, Fremont County!
