The first ever Winter Rendezvous Games are beginning to take shape.
The idea for a series of events, competitions, and fun at Riverton City Park was first proposed publicly by Riverton City Councilwoman Rebecca Schatza in fall 2018.
Schatza, the Riverton Parks Committee, and the City of Riverton are pushing forward with the idea, which is now set for Saturday, February 2nd.
Local businesses and organizations are encouraged to gather a team of 4 or 6 members and take part in the fun.
Events thus far include:
- Vehicle Push/Pull
- Ice Carving / Snowman Building contests
- Tug-Of-War
- Eating Competitions
- Build Your Own Sled & Timed Races
- Dress Up Your Buddy Obstacle Course Races
- Snowball Toss
Registration begins Monday, December 17th. Registration forms can be found at City Hall, or you can contact Megan at 307-857-7720 to have one e-mailed.
