The Town of Hudson is sponsoring the first “Haunted Halls of Hudson” on October 31st goes from 4:00 pm – 11:00 pm. This free event begins at the Hudson Town Hall that has been turned into a haunted house with two mazes (one for younger children and another scary one for older kids and adults) and ends with trunk-or-treat in the parking lot.
Created by Hudson resident and Halloween enthusiast Brenda McIntyre, this event had originated as a smaller haunted house at her residence and turned into a much larger event when the Town of Hudson joined forces in August. The theme is based on the movie “Thirteen Ghosts” and Brenda warns, “This is not for the faint of heart.” They are also working with the fire department and WYDOT to help with safety and slow down traffic and road safety.

Everyone across Fremont County is invited to the event and Brenda hopes to bring the communities together.
There is also a dry-run (no candy) planned for October 30th from 5p-7p. This will allow any bugs to be worked out before the main event on the 31st.
Brenda noted the event is free but donations are appreciated and plans to put any funds raised back into the community. She also said, they still need one more ghost, general volunteers and donations of candy would also be appreciated.
