Fireworks, open container allowed in City of Lander July 4th

UPDATE: As of June 23rd, there are no changes to the fireworks authorization shared below for July 4th, according to the City of Lander.

(Lander, WY) – The City of Lander shared today, June 22nd, the rules for fireworks and open containers on July 4th this year.

You can start lighting fireworks off within city limits starting at 10 am and going until midnight. Fireworks cannot be set off on city or school property. List is shared below.


Adult beverages can be enjoyed responsibly throughout the City of Lander starting at 9 am until midnight.
