Fire Weather Watch in place for Fremont County through Thursday

The National Weather Service office in Riverton is warning that low humidity and dry conditions are causing critical fire danger this week.

Projected gusty afternoon winds could accelerate conditions in central Wyoming even more.

You are encouraged to use extreme caution while doing any activity that could spark a fire, including smoking, starting a vehicle, being mindful of vehicle chains, properly extinguishing campfires and outdoor burns.
