Fire danger is elevated in Fremont County

    (Fremont County, WY) – The National Weather Service office in Riverton is warning residents that fire danger will be elevated Monday. Dry conditions exist in Fremont, Sweetwater, Natrona and southern Johnson Counties.

    Residents are being urged to use extreme caution while doing any activity that could potentially start a fire. Mid-week rain and snow is likely for much of Wyoming, but temperatures will exceed 60-degrees with strong winds Monday.
