Volunteers of America Northern Rockies will be holding their annual Empty Bowl event on October 24 from 5:00-7:00 pm at the Fremont County Fairgrounds.
Empty Bowl is a time for the community to gather in support of the work VOA does every day to help in our communities. This signature fundraiser brings in critically needed funds for their services. The best part is that ALL proceeds go directly to helping your friends and neighbors in need!
Last year, they provided services to 10,049 individuals across Wyoming, Montana, and Western South Dakota.
- The Center of Hope served more than 2,000 clients in 2018
- More than 40 individuals transitioned from the Center of Hope to long term treatment. That is twice as many as 2017!
- 250 kids were provided the opportunity to develop leadership, teamwork, and mentorship with criminal justice professionals from communities throughout the Northern Rockies at Camp POSTCARD (Peace Officers Striving to Create and Reinforce Dreams)
Coming to the Empty Bowl helps make all of this possible!
Pick out a unique bowl (that you get to take home) which you can fill with a huge assortment of gourmet soups donated and served by local restaurants, churches, and organizations. There will be games for kids and lots of door prizes.
VOA is thrilled to feature a silent auction at this year’s event. It’s ‘silent’ so it won’t get in the way of folks enjoying live music, friends, and delicious soup!

Families $30 – Adults $15 – Kids $5 (kids 5 and under are free)
Or save $5 by purchasing your tickets at the Riverton Chamber of Commerce before the event.
Last year’s event brought in 450 people, including volunteers and raised more than $30,000 to benefit the people we serve in Fremont county. Over 50 soups were served.
