Volunteers of America Northern Rockies held their annual Empty Bowl event on October 24. People from all over Fremont County attended, enjoyed soup and live music, all while donating to a wonderful cause!

Empty Bowl is a time for the community to gather in support of the work VOA does every day to help in our communities. This signature fundraiser brings in critically needed funds for their services. The best part is that ALL proceeds go directly to helping your friends and neighbors in need!

Last year, they provided services to 10,408 individuals across Wyoming, Montana, and Western South Dakota.

    • The Center of Hope served more than 2,000 clients
    • More than 40 individuals transitioned from the Center of Hope to long term treatment. That is twice as many as 2017!
    • 250 kids (18 from Fremont County) were provided the opportunity to develop leadership, teamwork, and mentorship with criminal justice professionals from communities throughout the Northern Rockies at Camp POSTCARD (Peace Officers Striving to Create and Reinforce Dreams)
    • 3,075 Veterans served

This year’s event brought in over 400 people, including volunteers and raised $35,000 to benefit the people we serve in Fremont County. Over 35 soups were served.

Special thanks to everyone who donated soup and time to help make this year’s Empty Bowl a success.
