(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 Community News Manager and podcaster Amanda Fehring caught up with Vanessa Powell, captain of the Beaver Rim Division for the Pony Express National Re-Ride.
The small team of five rode through the late and early morning hours of June 21st and 22nd relaying mail en route from Sacramento, California to St. Joseph, Missouri.
Their route was from Atlantic City to Jeffrey City, covering about 60 miles of mountain roads and pavement.
