Feed the Kids Car & Bike Show raised funds for around 400 student meals

$803 was raised in Riverton this past weekend at the first-ever Feed the Kids Car & Bike Show organized by the Oilfield Ironmen Brotherhood – Big Bear Chapter.

100% of the event proceeds are going to the Fremont County School District #25 food program, and this is enough money for around 400 meals, Big Bear Chapter Treasurer Trish Thorpe shared.

Would like to extend a thank you for donations from folks like Dave, Tony Luoma, Diedrich Kurkowski, Karlee Zach. We also received donations from a few motorcycles traveling through town from Colorado and Florida, as they enjoyed our beautiful state. Carrol Septic Services donated two restrooms, which were greatly appreciated. Thank you! We would also like to recognize our Oilfield Ironmen – Banded Iron Chapter, and their family and friends, who drove from Casper to support and contribute to the event.

They are looking forward to planning another event next summer with the community.
