    February 15th Commissioners’ news report

    (Fremont County, WY) – Below is the Fremont County Commissioners’ news report for the February 15th meeting. This release is provided by the Commissioners’ Office.

    A letter of agreement with the Wyoming Behavioral Institute was approved setting costs of treatment during involuntary hospitalization procedures.

    A letter of support was approved for WYDOT’s application to the Department of Environmental Quality for the Dry Ridge Pit.

    The Fremont County Historic Preservation Commission annual report was approved.

    A comment letter was approved for submission to the Bureau of Land Management regarding the environmental assessment for future wild horse gathers, removals and fertility control measures in the North Lander Wild Horse Complex.

    A notice of award was approved for Avail Valley Construction-WY LLC in the amount of $1,619,343.25 for the Country Acres Road Reconstruction Project.

    Change Order No. 1 was accepted for the Paradise Valley Structure ELE Replacement Project for a deduct of $11,604.75 for a total project cost of $151,045.25.

    William Overturf was appointed to fill a vacancy on the Fremont County Museum Board with a term to expire on June 30, 2024.
