Parent-teacher conferences give parents the opportunity to collaborate and partner with their child’s teachers to increase school success, shared Fremont County School District #25 (FCSD #25).
Schools will be reaching out to families unless otherwise noted below. You can also contact your student’s school for more information.
If you plan to attend in-person please follow the district Smart Start Protocols:
- Maintain at least 6 feet of social distancing
- Wear a mask when 6 feet of social distancing cannot be maintained
- Screen and hand sanitize at the door before entering
- If you have symptoms or have been in close contact with someone who is positive or symptomatic, please do not come, rather contact your child’s’ teacher to make arrangements.
Aspen Early Learning Center: October 19-23, 2020 and January 2021.
During the fall conferences, AELC will be calling parents of students who are needing some extra support to schedule individual appointments, either in-person or virtual. If you do not receive a call and wish to set up a conference, please contact your child’s teacher. Formal conferences for all students will be held in January 2021.
Ashgrove Elementary School: October 26-29, 2020.
Primary conference day is October 29th, 4:00-7:00 but teachers may schedule after school October 26, 27 & 28 to accommodate one family at a time. Virtual conferences will be available if the family prefers. Your child’s teachers will contact you to make arrangements.
Jackson Elementary School: October 26-29, 2020.
Primary conference day is October 29th, 3:00-6:00 but teachers may schedule after school October 26, 27 & 28 to accommodate one family at a time. Preference is for 1st-grade families to meet in-person but virtual will be available and 2nd & 3rd grade conferences will be virtual or in-person if requested. A letter will be sent home with your child regarding parents’ preferred conference time.
Willow Creek Elementary School: January 12 and 14, 2021.
Willow Creek will schedule their first conference a little later into the school year. Teachers will schedule conferences either in-person or virtual based on family requests. If you wish to meet with your child’s teacher prior to the formal conferences in January, please feel free to schedule an appointment at any time.
Rendezvous Elementary School: November 2-5, 2020.
A letter will be sent home on October 23rd with report cards asking families to choose phone, virtual, or in-person conferences. In-person conferences will be limited to direct parent/guardians and Rendezvous students only. All health guidelines will be followed.
Riverton Middle School: October 29, 2020.
RMS will hold conferences via Zoom from 4:00-7:00, the first hour will be by appointment. Teachers will contact families to schedule a conference appointment time. Zoom for families with last names of A-M will be from 5:00-6:00, then last names N-Z will be from 6:00-7:00. The school will email the Zoom link to parents as post it to the middle school Facebook page. If you are unable to attend, you may email your students’ teacher to arrange a convenient time.
Riverton High School: October 15, 2020.
Conferences will be held in-person from 5:00-7:00 with RHS teachers in the RHS main building and Career Center teachers will hold conferences in the RHS Commons Area or Media Center. The main entrance doors will not open until 5:00 and you will be screened as you enter. Please bring a face covering to wear in hallways and whenever you cannot be 6 feet apart. If you are not feeling well please stay home and email your students’ teacher to make other arrangements. Student report cards, a map, and information on PowerSchool and Canvas logins will be mailed out as staff will not be handing anything out at conferences. If you would prefer a virtual appointment, email the appropriate staff member to schedule an appointment.
Riverton High School Alternative Program: October 15, 2020.
Contact the Alt Program, 856-5250 to make an appointment, either virtual or in-person for the conference.
Parents are always welcome to make appointments for phone or individual conferences at school, in addition to meeting during the designated parent-teacher conference dates.
