    Fatal crash on US-26 Wednesday caused by driver falling asleep

    Just after 6:00 am on October 21st, a fatal wreck involving a passenger vehicle and a commercial truck was reported near mile marker 30 on US-26 west of Dubois.

    The driver of the commercial truck was eastbound and fell asleep, according to Wyoming Highway Patrol. They crossed the centerline hitting a westbound passenger vehicle.

    WHP has identified the victim of the crash as 62-year-old Jo Anne Meeker. She was driving the passenger vehicle.
