‘Fast & Furriest 5K/1K’: Funds raised support the Critical Care Companion Animal Fund

(Riverton, WY) It was beautiful weather for the participants and pups in this year’s ‘Fast & Furries 5K/1K’ event at Central Wyoming College last Saturday.

The annual race is a yearly fundraiser put on by The Stock Doc for the Critical Care Companion Animal Fund, which aids pets in need of urgent care, as well as medicates and treats diseases and provides discounts on vet services. The fund also aids shelter pets “with life-saving procedures that give these animals a second chance at a great life.”

There were sixty-six participants in this year’s race, up from forty-one last year. Race results are as follows.
