    ‘Fall back’ on November 7th

(Fremont County, WY) – Wyoming is still one of the states that recognizes Daylight Saving Time and it comes to end for 2021 this weekend.

DST ends on Sunday, November 7th at 2 am. So, don’t forget to move those clocks that don’t update automatically back an hour.

Efforts have been made in recent years to squash the time change and stick to the time observed in the summer, but none have gone into effect.

In 2020, Governor Mark Gordon signed HB0044 – Mountain daylight time preservation. This would only go into effect if the U.S. Congress authorized this observance and a minimum of four states within the region were to do the same.

HB0071 – Mountain standard time was introduced during the 2021 General Session but failed.
