Ezra James Barker Verrill

Ezra James Barker Verrill, age 65 of Lander, Wyoming passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 3, 2020.

Jim was born on April 21, 1955, to George Alpha Verrill, Jr. and Marguerite Ruth (Burkhart) Verrill in New Haven, Connecticut.

Jim attended the Tennessee Military Academy in Sweetwater, Tennessee and graduated from Amity High School in Woodbridge, Connecticut.

Jim received his military training at Fort Riley, Kansas and received an Engineering Degree from Kansas State.  Jim worked all his life for

Kellogg, Brown and Root in the field of Natural Gas and Oil.  Jim was a member of TKE, Sons and Patriots, Sons of the American Revolution and the “Oldtimers of KBR.”

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, George Alpha Verrill, Jr. and Marguerite Ruth (Burkhart) Verrill and former wife, Evelyn Dissel Verrill.

Jim is survived by his sister, Wendy L. Weimann of Lander, Wyoming; niece Noelle Weimann Van Dijk of Lander, Wyoming; nephew,  Robert Paul Weimann IV of Thermopolis, Wyoming and Lander, Wyoming; four great-nieces and nephews.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place.  A private family service will be held at a later time at the Barker Cemetery, Middleton, Rhode Island.
