Together with partners, the Wyoming Game and Fish Department is once again offering raffles to help with disease sample collection. There are raffles for both CWD and brucellosis sample submissions.
In the Lander Region, CWD focus areas are deer areas 96, 97 (mandatory), 157 and 171, and elk areas 67, 68, 69 and 127. Hunters area entered into the raffle for submitting a useable sample from any area.

- Asking at a game check station.
- Contacting the Lander Regional Office Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm to arrange a time.
- Taking your own sample (video and instructions here) and mailing it to the lab.
For brucellosis samples, limited quota license holders in targeted areas will get mailed a sample kit and instructions, and general license holders can pick them up at the Lander Regional Office. Hunters will only get entered into the raffle for submitting a useable sample from the targeted areas. The targeted areas in the Lander Region are elk areas 25, 27, 28, 100 and 127.
