Dubois basketball standout Cody Wright signs to play with North Idaho College

    (Dubois, WY) – Dubois High School’s Cody Wright inked his letter of intent recently to continue his basketball career at North Idaho College in Coeur d’Alene.

    After graduating from DHS in 2022, Wright immediately left to serve on an LDS mission and live in Santiago, Chile. Cody moved to Wyoming from Texas in high school and helped the Rams put together a 23-3 overall season his senior year, including a 1A West regional championship. He was recognized in 2022 as the Conference Player of the Year, and was on the Wyoming All-State list. He averaged 24.1 points per game, collected 9.6 rebounds per game, recorded 4 assists a night and had nearly 2 blocks per outing.

    The North Idaho Cardinals compete compete in the Scenic West Athletic Conference. Head Coach Corey Symons said, “We are super excited to have Cody in our program. Cody is an unbelievable young man who comes from a great basketball family. Off the court, Cody will represent our program and institution at the highest level. On the court, Cody will help us in many ways. He is a big-time shooter with length and athleticism. Cody can play multiple positions for us. We are looking forward to his leadership on and off the court.”
