Utah Governor Gary Herbert and the Utah Department of Transportation announced Thursday that any out-of-state driver whose final destination is Utah, must complete a travel declaration form first.

The order begins Friday, April 10th and will remain in effect until 11:59 p.m. on May 1st, unless otherwise noted.

All major entrances to the state, including Interstate 80 on the Wyoming border, will have a geofence according to Utah’s ABC 4 News. Vehicles entering the state should get a text message, directing them to fill out a self-declaration form.

The form includes basic information questions and if the individual has been tested, or is experiencing any, Coronavirus symptoms.
