Multiple agencies responded to a rolled semi with a loaded cattle pod on US-26 between Crowheart and Dubois on September 2nd around 5:00 pm.
“There were no injuries to the driver of the truck, however there were several cattle trapped in the trailer,” the Dubois Volunteer Fire Department posted on their Facebook page. “Using rescue tools firefighters extricated all the cattle in about an hour and a half. Several cattle were injured and died in the accident, including two that had to be euthanized on the scene.”
Wyoming Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
