Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Smith joins SageWest to expand inpatient medicine services available to Fremont County residents.
SageWest Health Care is pleased to announce that David Smith, MD, has joined its staff and will be offering inpatient medicine services at SageWest Health Care in Riverton. Dr. Smith is one of several physicians expected to begin practicing in Fremont County this year as SageWest continues to grow health care services.

Dr. Smith has more than 16 years of inpatient medicine experience. He joins SageWest most recently from the Providence Medford Medical Center in Medford, Ore. where he practiced since 2013. Dr. Smith is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Smith completed his residency in family medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center in Syracuse, N.Y. He earned his medical degree from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California.
