Dr. Francisco joined Fremont Orthopaedics in 2017.
Dr. Francisco is a broadly trained orthopaedic surgeon who treats a spectrum of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, such as knee and hip arthritis and broken bones. He also has advanced fellowship training, as well as particular interests and surgical skills in treating problems of the shoulder, elbow, and hand, such as shoulder arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, and Dupuytren’s contracture.
Dr. Francisco reflects: “I love working in Fremont County because the people here are wonderful to work with, and I can raise my family in a safe environment with accessible outdoor activities. I am thankful that I can bring personalized, exceptional care to people locally rather than patients having to travel long distances over often impassible or unsafe roads.“
The Fremont County lifestyle has been a natural fit for Dr. Francisco. He grew up in rural Southern Utah, where he worked on farms and enjoyed all that a small town has to offer. While attending Utah State University, Dr. Francisco met and married his wife, Jan, and together they moved to San Antonio, Texas while he attended medical school and residency. Most of Dr. Francisco’s leisure time is spent enjoying his five children and working outdoors on his family’s property. Dr. Francisco’s other interests include fly-fishing, horses, and hunting.
