DEQ Solid and Hazardous Waste Division electronic document submission now available

The Solid and Hazardous Waste Division (SHWD) is adjusting to the challenges of working in the shadow of COVID-19. In order to protect their staff and our partners in the regulated community, SHWD developed a system for the regulated community to electronically submit site related documents. They encourage folks to use this system for submitting documents rather than hard copy via mail. If documents are uploaded to this system, then no hard copy needs to be submitted.

The website addresses to upload documents are:

Hazardous Waste, Voluntary Remediation, Orphan Site Programs

Solid Waste Permitting & Corrective Action Program

You may also upload documents via the link below on SHWD’s website.

Please note that if you have a document greater than 30 MBs please contact Drew Martin of SHWD’s administrative staff at [email protected] or 307-777-6978, and he will be able to provide you a google drive link where you can upload your document.

They will do our best to minimize any issues this may cause. Please contact either Jerry Breed for Hazardous Waste & Voluntary Remediation Programs questions at 307-777-5617 or Suzanne Engels for questions pertaining to the Solid Waste Permitting & Corrective Action Program at 307-777-5447. Thank you for helping us continue to work through these difficult times, and please stay safe.
