(Riverton, WY) – The 7th annual Riverton March for Peace took place Saturday morning. Participants met at Rotary Park along the Rails-To-Trails path, marched down Main Street and gathered at City Park.
The march started in 2015, following a shooting at the Riverton Center of Hope. A gunman killed Stalone Trosper and injured Sonny Goggles.
Several speakers took turns behind the microphone at City Park, all asking for peace and understanding among the community.
Event organizer Ron Howard recently joined the County 10 Podcast to discuss more about the event.
