Danyne Cooper Counseling is aiming to improve lives
Danyne Cooper has been working in the mental health and addiction field for the past 12 years. In 2011, Danyne moved back to her hometown of Riverton where she has been working as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Most recently Danyne completed training through the EMDR Institute for EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy, which is an evidenced based psychotherapy. Danyne is hoping to expand the population of clientele she can reach through opening her own private practice.
The variances of how we live life are great, Danyne focuses on all aspects of life, from dire situations to a need for a renewed sense of purpose and reinvigorating your life.
“Too many people view counseling as something that is needed due to a major life problem,” Danyne stated. “The truth is that nearly every aspect of our life is mapped within our brains.”
“Even something as simple as interactions we do not remember, stick with us into adulthood,” she continued. “The beautiful thing is that every day we have numerous opportunities to make positive change. I aim to help people improve every aspect of their life including; mental health, substance abuse, self-worth, and interactions with friends, co-workers and loved ones.”
