CWC graduate wins award for her short film ‘Addiction’ [PODCAST]

Central Wyoming College graduate Falon McCormick was recognized earlier this year for winning ‘Best Wyoming Film’ with her 3-minute short called “Addiction” at the 307 Film Festival in Laramie.

McCormick’s film spotlights with struggles with methamphetamine. She recently sat down with 10Cast Network host Lance Goede for his show ‘Positively Mental.’ Falon told Lance that her inspiration for the subject came from a real life family situation, in which a loved one was dealing with addiction.

McCormick received a $500 prize and a trophy from the 307 Film Festival.
