CWC Executive director of the Foundation announces resignation
After more than three years as the executive director for the Central Wyoming College Foundation,
Becky Ruthenbeck formally announced her resignation this week.
“I’m looking forward to being closer to family,” Ruthenbeck said. “I have enjoyed becoming immersed in
the Riverton and CWC community. I have gained valuable knowledge and insight about the college system and look forward to carrying that knowledge to my next endeavor.”
Ruthenbeck has accepted a job at North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota as the development director for the college of math and science. Her new position will be specific to fundraising.
North Dakota State University has more than 14,000 students attend their college each year and Ruthenbeck said she looks forward to cultivating new relationships at NDSU.
“I’m excited and ready to focus and direct all my fundraising abilities to the math and science department,” she said. Ruthenbeck’s last day will be Jan. 19 and she will start her new job on Jan. 29.
“We want to wish Becky the best in her new venture and we certainly appreciate the good work she has done for the Foundation,” said Scott Estep, president of the CWC Foundation Board. “The executive committee is pleased to announce that Willie Noseep, vice president of administrative services at Central Wyoming College will be the interim director during this transition. The wheels have been put in motion to embark on an extensive search for a new executive director and in the meantime, we will move ahead with the exciting projects we have been working on.”
The position for the director of Foundation will open sometime this spring.
