    COVID positive cases increase at Honor Farm in Riverton

    The Wyoming Department of Corrections released the latest COVID-19 numbers today, November 9th.

    Today’s update shows an increase at the Wyoming Honor Farm in Riverton which only had 5 active cases reported in their last update shared October 26th.

    Cheyenne – As of Monday November 9, 2020 the number of active COVID-19 cases (confirmed positives) and recoveries (previously confirmed positives that have been cleared by the Wyoming Department of Health are as follows.

    Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution (WMCI) Torrington
    Total Covid-19 tests conducted on inmates to date: 2926
    Total Covid-19 positive results, inmates, to date: 13
    Total Covid-19 inmates recovered to date: 6
    Total Covid-19 staff positive results to date: 29
    Total Covid-19 staff recoveries to date: 22

    Wyoming Honor Farm (WHF) Riverton
    Total Covid-19 tests conducted on inmates to date: 747
    Total Covid-19 positive results, inmates, to date: 46
    Total Covid-19 inmates recovered to date: 12
    Total Covid-19 staff positive results to date: 11
    Total Covid-19 staff recoveries to date: 4

    Wyoming Honor Conservation Camp (WHCC) Newcastle
    Total Covid-19 tests conducted on inmates to date: 883
    Total Covid-19 positive results, inmates, to date: 141
    Total Covid-19 inmates recovered to date: 61
    Total Covid-19 staff positive results to date: 21
    Total Covid-19 staff recoveries to date: 7

    Four WDOC sites (WHCC, WHF, WMCI and WWC) will undergo 100% surveillance testing this week for all staff and inmates and WSP will undergo a 20% surveillance sampling for staff and inmates.
