(Lander, WY) – It was a day of goodbyes and celebrations at today’s County Commissioners meeting.
Fremont County Coroner Mark Stratmoen announced his official retirement at today’s meeting, and will continue working through his term at the end of June. Stratmoen has served Fremont County in this position since 2015. Mark has been a certified death investigator since 1998.
Before taking office in 2015, he also served as department administrator from 2004 to 2014, and as Chief Deputy from 2007 to 2014. Service also included being a member of DMORT (Disaster Mortuary Operational Response Team) under the Federal National Disaster Medical Service, Department of Health and Human Services, with deployment to work Hurricane Katrina in the New Orleans area in 2005.

Becky Enos was honored by County Clerk Julie Freese for 25 years of service to Fremont County. Becky has been an Administrative Secretary for the Fremont County Clerk and Commissioners for now 26 years.
