County 10 re-launches #Headsup Campaign with an “old sign buyback” program

This #headsup is brought to you by Bailey Pit Stop Travel Centers.

Back in 2015, County 10 launched a community safety and awareness campaign in the wake of a local tragedy. #Headsup was focused on the premise of traffic safety, but quickly became a vehicle for all kinds of public awareness info and updates.

Having a bright orange #Headsup sign in your yard meant you supported safe neighborhoods for our families and friends to enjoy together. They dotted front yards all over Fremont County – and still do!

This summer, County 10 is re-launching #Headsup in partnership with Bailey Pit Stop Travel Centers.

We’re giving away NEW yard signs to those interested in promoting a positive and safe environment for our community to play. Here’s the thing, there are a TON of OLD #Headsup signs out there. Many are weathered and outdated.

Bailey’s has offered to “buy back” your old signs if you bring them to the County 10 staff at an event or at the County 10 offices in Riverton. For every old #Headsup sign brought back to County 10, Bailey’s will donate $1 to Injury Prevention Resources. IPR works hard to bring programs and events to Fremont County that help to keep our roads safe – they’re a perfect recipient of the money generated through the buy-back program.

Bring your OLD signs (and pick up NEW) to the County 10 offices in Riverton or to one of the following events:

    • Rotary 4th of July Buffalo BBQ in Lander City Park (July 4th)
    • Day in the Park in Riverton (July 13th)
    • Other locations TBD – watch County 10 for pop up locations and events throughout the summer.

County 10’s offices are at 2255 Brunton Court, Suite A in Riverton. Do not take old signs to Bailey’s locations!

You can pick up NEW yard signs at any Bailey Tire and Oil or Pit Stop Travel Center location in Fremont County beginning the week of July 8th.
