Corey Scott Seely, 48, of Lander, Wyoming passed away on September 30, 2018 at the University of Colorado Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. A Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at the Lander Community and Convention Center.
Corey Scott Seely was born December 20, 1969 to Theodore H. Seely and Glenda K. Seely in Lander, Wyoming.
He attended school in Casper and Lander, Wyoming. In 1989, he graduated from Lander Valley High School and then went on to the University of Wyoming. Corey also attended Paradise Valley Community College, and Arizona State University. He obtained his Masters Electrician License.
In September 1997, he married Brenda Ruby and together they had a daughter, Makayla Shae Seely on April 25, 2000.
Cory was one of the most compassionate souls and he always had a soft spot for strays. He took in all types, animals and humans. He cherished his pets more than most and loved to just spend time loving them. His family and friends will remember his as a teaser and his sense of humor will surely be missed.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ted and Harriet Seely and maternal grandparents, Sam and Helen Bell.
Survivors include daughter, Makayla Shae Seely; mother, Glenda Seely; father, Ted Seely and his wife Charlene; significant other, Kari Winfield; brothers, Todd Seely and Steve Osborne; nephew, Cade Seely and niece, Tatum Seely.
