Community Health brings awareness to World Hepatitis Day

World Hepatitis Day this week brings Community Health Centers of Central Wyoming the opportunity to remind everyone that prevention is key. Community Health Riverton, Community Health Lander Pediatrics, and Dubois Medical Clinic vaccinate for Hepatitis A & B during routine vaccines, and we also offer booster vaccines.

The CDC recommends all adults get tested for Hepatitis C. Because there may be no symptoms for 20 years or more, most people will never know they are infected until the damage has already been done. Hepatitis C is curable!

Talk to one of CHCCW’s family medicine or pediatric providers about vaccinations for your family and getting tested. Community Health can test for all hepatitis.
