    Commissioners’ April 5th meeting recap

    (Lander, WY) – The Fremont County Commissioners met yesterday, April 5th. Below is a recap of the meeting.

    A Nelson Architects, LLC proposal for professional services was approved for the courtroom remodel project. The services should not exceed $50,000 with funding through ARPA.

    As a result of the SF0038 monthly ad valorem tax revisions, Fremont County will accept the state treasurer’s office loan of $822,511 at 0% interest to cover the transition to monthly payments of mineral ad valorem taxes to be in the manner of loans to special districts and community colleges.

    An Inberg-Miller Engineers proposal for engineering services on an as-needed technical support basis was approved based on their schedule of fees and available services.

    Redoubt Subdivision, lot 1 re-subdivision was approved, located 6.5 miles of Pavillion at the intersection of Tunnel Hill Road, that splits the current 4.5-acre lot into two lots.

    Owl Canyon Subdivision was approved, a four lot simple subdivision located 9.5 miles south of Lander and 3 miles west of the intersection of Willow Creek Road and Highway 789.

    The board re-appointed Assessor Tara Berg and new member County Planner Steve Baumann to two-year terms as at-large members on the capital revolving fund committee.
