(Lander, WY) – 1330 KOVE AM / 107.7 FM’s Coffee Time host Vince Tropea recently sat down with Holly Butler from the WYNOW: Wyoming Youth Now Foundation, and Don Shreve from the Wyoming Cowboy ChalleNGe Academy.
Both of these programs work together in conjunction with the National Guard to provide access to a free, five-and-a-half month long residential academy “designed to improve structure, instill discipline, and help young men and women recognize and achieve their potential in a quasi-military training environment.”
Butler and Shreve both provided personal testimony to the program’s amazing results with at-risk teens, and shared the importance of instilling confidence and discipline in youths who may not have had those ideals instilled in them in ways they could connect with.
