Classic car enthusiasts flock to Riverton this weekend [Car Show/Autocross Schedule]

Car fans from all around the Rocky Mountain region will pour into Riverton this weekend for the 27th annual Rocky Mountain Rebels Car Show and Autocross.

Events are planned in coordination with the 39th annual Riverton Rendezvous weekend with activities set for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

This will be the second consecutive year that the Friday Night Cruise parade returns to Riverton’s Main Street.

At 6:00 p.m. Friday evening a long line classic cars, trucks, motorcycles, and other vehicles will depart from Central Wyoming College and head east to downtown Riverton. The parade travels on the south side of Main Street and ultimately arrives in downtown Riverton, where cars are parked along the commercial city blocks.

From roughly 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. all of the automobiles will be on display for folks to get a closer look and chat with the owners. Live music, food trucks, and vendors will be on hand for the Main Street party. At 7:00 p.m. the annual burn out contest begins.

The car show itself is Saturday, July 20th from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on the Central Wyoming College south lawn. Food trucks, vendors, and of course sharp-looking vehicles will all be on display.

On both Saturday and Sunday, the autocross competition will also be held at Central Wyoming College as drivers compete in a timed obstacle course.
