Class of 2020 celebration in Lander last night [PHOTOS & VIDEO]

Class of 2020 celebratory parade, Friday Night Cruise, and fireworks to top it off made for a memorable evening in Lander last night.

At 7:00 pm, graduates from several schools were escorted down Lander’s Main Street by the Lander Volunteer Fire Department, Lander Police Department, Lander Rural Fire, and the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office. Community members, friends, and family all lined the sidewalk and filled the parking lots to support the students as they honked and waved while driving by.

The parade culminated at Lander Valley High School where everyone parked and waited for the fireworks. Classic Air Medical also flew over a few times showing their support.

Vehicles continued to fill the high school parking lot and neighboring areas as dusk approached. The fireworks began just before 9:00 pm and were quite the show.
