The Lander City Council and Mayor Del McOmie honored the Army National Guard and its members this week at their Tuesday night meeting.
The city officials named Thursday, December 13th as Lander’s National Guard Day.
The proclamation read, “The City of Lander and its citizens would like to proclaim our appreciation to the National Guardsmen and their families for the sacrifices they have made and are making on our behalf.”
Lander City Councilman Dick Hudson presented Army National Guard member and City of Lander employee Mike Clancy with the proclamation.
