(Lander, WY) – In honor of National Volunteer Week, the City of Lander has issued the following release acknowledging the Lander Volunteer Fire Department.
“The Lander Volunteer Fire Department has been serving our community since 1901. They do more than fight fires and perform rescues. Volunteers participate in community prevention programs and conduct fundraising events.
“In 2021, they responded to over 130 calls. During National Volunteer Week, we are extending an appreciation and thank you to our volunteer fire department.”
