As is customary, the Riverton City Council at their first meeting of 2022 yesterday voted for council President and Vice President.
Council member Mike Bailey was elected council president, and council member Dean Peranteaux was voted for vice president.

Municipal court judge, alternate judge, and city attorney appointments to remain the same
Judge Teresa M. McKee will remain at municipal court as well as alternate judge Aaron Vincent and Rick Sollars as the city prosecutor.
Tony Tolstedt during the council meeting says that the cost to keep these positions has also remained unchanged.
“From 55 and 70 thousand dollars a year, the reason for the range is how much we use them,” said Tolstedt.
