“Our goal for bringing this piece to Lander is to begin conversations regarding the importance of mental health, including how to foster resiliency in the face of trauma and how to support others who may be going through this,” shared Communal Pancake Performing Arts. “After each performance, there will be a community talkback with mental health professionals to help cultivate a space for conversation.”

Chomolungma initially premiered in 2019 during Shrillfest at MCS Theatre in New York City.

The performance is free, however, Bhava Shala is an intimate space and seating is limited. Please RSVP by visiting communalpancake.com/tickets.

COVID-19 guidelines will also be in place for all performances and noted that this show not only discusses death and grief, but has strong language.
