    Chiefs, Cougars, Wranglers, Wolverines race out to early lead in 2021 Mascot Challenge

    (Fremont County, WY) – County 10’s 2021 Mascot Challenge presented by Gales Carpet One and Altitude Interiors is officially underway!

    11 Fremont County high school’s and CWC will battle it out for the title of “mascot of the year.” A traveling trophy will be engraved with the winning school’s name and presented to that school for the year.

    Several hundred votes were calculated in the first couple hours of official voting Monday morning. Both Wind River High School’s Cougars and Wyoming Indian’s Chiefs raced out to the early lead, followed closely by Shoshoni’s Wranglers and Riverton’s Wolverines. With hundreds of votes coming in every few minutes, those standings are changing constantly!

    Round one voting continues through Thursday at 3:00 p.m. The bottom four teams will be eliminated from the challenge, and the remaining 8 will be seeded into a bracket for head-to-head voting.

    And, after all of our local mascot fun is over, County 10 will roll into our 2021 NCAA Tournament Bracket Challenge presented by Olsen Orthodontics. We’ll have some amazing prizes to give away to the top winners, and perhaps some fun for the biggest loser 🙂
