Charles Mason Erickson passed away early Friday morning, July 5, 2019.
Chuck was born October 3, 1946, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated from Lander High School in 1965 and the University of Wyoming in 1973.
Chuck served in the USMC with one tour of duty in Vietnam in 1967, marrying the love of his life, then returning for a second tour of duty in 1968.
He is survived by his son, Colby Erickson, and wife, Amy of Lander; daughter, Ondi L. Shepperson of Meeteetse; sisters, Haze Hanna of Virginia and Amy Clark of Georgia; his grandchildren, Shawn, Lauren and Shana Shepperson of Meeteetse, Katie and Kolbie Erickson of Lander, Rilee Erickson and great-grandson, Kovyn Watson of Big Piney; nephews, Chuck Thaxton and Adam Seaver of Georgia, niece, Christie Carr of Georgia; brothers-in-law, Kip Crofts of Cheyenne and Paul Crofts of Lander; and countless friends in Lander, Jeffrey City and beyond.
Chuck loved his family, his friends, his animals, and his country. He lived his way of life.
He will be greatly missed.
