    Central Wyoming College publishes Viewbook

     Features academic offerings, scholarships, athletics, and campus life 

    Riverton, WYCentral Wyoming College has published the 2022-23 Viewbook to highlight academics, financial information, scholarship opportunities, campus life, sports, and regional offerings. Central Wyoming College’s Viewbook is available in print and online. This publication serves as an important medium to communicate with prospective students who are interested in becoming a CWC Rustler 

    CWC’s Viewbook highlights more than sixty majors, meta majors and degree programs, as well as certificates offered by the college. 

    Central Wyoming College programs include Associate of Arts and Associate of Science options, with highly sought-after programs like early childhood education and nursing. Also, unique to Central Wyoming College are degrees and certificates that will help students flourish in Wyoming’s economy and beyond, including outdoor education, agriculture, cosmetology, and meat packing programs.

    For students who wish to continue their undergraduate education without leaving the area, Central Wyoming College now offers two new Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degrees in Early Childhood Education and Organizational Management and Leadership. Organizational Management and Leadership includes Tribal Leadership, Business and Entrepreneurial Leadership, and Outdoor Leadership specialization options. 

    “There are so many opportunities at Central Wyoming College,” says Rachel Hofer, Director of Admissions, and a CWC alumna. “We offer everything from taking a few classes, earning a certificate or degree, athletics, and getting involved. We have such a supportive community. I am beyond proud to have been a Rustler student and again as an employee. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.” 

    Central Wyoming College’s service areas are surrounded by access to hiking and biking trails, fishing, skiing, and rock climbing in some of the most beautiful places in the United States, including Sinks Canyon, Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Central Wyoming College’s main campus in Riverton includes residence halls with a number of amenities and weekly activities. Housing is also available at the Alpine Science Institute in Lander. 

    While at Central Wyoming College, students have the opportunity to participate in interesting and engaging clubs to expand their learning. CWC’s Viewbook also includes projected costs of attendance, housing and meal plan options, and scholarship information to help prospective students manage expenses.
