Central Wyoming College cross country sends two to nationals in Iowa

    Central Wyoming College release:

The CWC Cross Country team completed it’s 7th season, sending two runners to Nationals at Fort Dodge, Iowa.  Despite the weather (38 degrees and windy), the runners competed well.

Nationals were run a little different this year due to Covid-19.  Instead of having all runners race at one time, the races were split into three (D1, D2 and D3).  Centrals runners raced in the D1 heat against 146 other runners.  Jayden Yates was the top runner for CWC, placing 51st with a time of 27:42.  Freshman Kameron Brough placed 96th with a time of 29:18.  The overall winner was Kelvin Bungel from Iowa Central, running a time of 24:57.  Click here to view all results.
