Celebrate with the real Cowboys on ‘National Day of The Cowboy’ in Dubois

National Day of the Cowboy July 24th, 2021

Celebrate the “Old West” with National Day of the Cowboy Bull Riding in scenic Dubois on Saturday, July 24th starting at 5pm at the Rodeo Grounds. The celebration kicks off Friday with the Dubois Friday Night Rodeo followed by a night of Bull Riding and “Hide Races” on Saturday, and Cowboy Church on Sunday morning.

This year, the competition is revving up as the stakes were upped with an extra $2,000 in the winners pot for the main Bull Riding event. You can also be a part of something unique and entertaining, the Cowhide Races. Watch as these Cowboys hook a cowhide to the back of a horse and compete to see who can hold on the longest as the horse races around the arena! Also plan to join in on Cowboy Church Sunday morning at 9am down at the arena! Coffee and biscuits and gravy will be served starting at 8am! Bring the whole family over to Dubois for a weekend of fun they won’t forget.
