Thursday, April 22 is Earth Day! The Lander Library is celebrating by offering another free online documentary screening! River’s End reveals California’s complex struggle over who gets freshwater, and how moneyed interests game the system. Constant battling over uncertain water supplies heralds an impending crisis—not just in California, but around the world.
Watch the trailer and contact the library (332-5194 or DM your email on Facebook or Instagram!) to get signed up. A librarian will email the link and password. The show starts at 7 PM.
All participants also get a link from The Nature Conservancy that explores where cities across the globe get their water.
The screening is free thanks to grant funds!
