CDS of Fremont County – Hiring Full Time Receptionist (Riverton) and Full Time Case Manager (Lander)
Child Development Services of Fremont County is seeking applications from compassionate and talented individuals for the following position:
Full time Center Receptionist- Riverton
The Center Receptionist shall have, as a minimum, diploma from an accredited high school or General Education Degree (GED) and possess demonstrated ability to perform the duties of the position. Successful experience in an office environment and knowledge of special education is preferred.
Position is responsible to provide secretarial assistance to the Center Coordinator, Business Manager, Executive Director, and staff.
Serve as receptionist for the Executive Director and staff, first person to answer phones, greet public, take messages and disseminate to appropriate for staff, date, time, etc., (avoid interruption of class or therapy time).
Assist in maintaining and updating the program’s file system.
- Filing of all client data
- Call families and remind of meetings, screenings and evaluation appointments.
Arrange coverage for staff out sick by calling substitutes.
Be an advocate for children and families.
Other duties as assigned by the Center Coordinator, Business Manager and Executive Director
Full Time Case Manager – Lander
The Case Manager shall have a minimum of one year clerical coursework or equivalency of from an accredited school (or three years or more of on the job experience in a clerical position). Successful experience in data entry and computer program usage.
Position is responsible for:
Maintaining confidentiality with all aspects of our program, including but not limited to client files, personnel and administrative issues of the organization. Inputs all data/information into data student data management system.
Provide assistance to the Center Coordinator and staff. Case Management of IEP services. Assist staff in implementing the county child find programs by scheduling and processing screenings. Beginning of the year preparation as well as end of the year preparations. Maintain master schedule and update all changes daily. Develop and maintain class lists to include services, case manager, frequency, teacher, etc.
Schedule screenings, evaluations, MDT/IEP/IFSP meetings, and parent/staffing meetings. Track and maintain Physician Orders and Medicaid Plans of Treatment. Other duties as assigned by the Center Coordinator, Business Manager and Executive Director.
