Janet Frost, MD, FACOG, has 30 years of experience in OB/GYN. She has been an obstetrician and gynecologist at CHCCW for 2 years. She is a graduate of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX and completed a residency in OB/GYN at the University of Oklahoma.
After residency, she spent 7 ½ years serving as an Obstetrician/Gynecologist in the US Air Force, 6 years overseas during Desert Storm and Desert Shield, before resigning due to family illness that brought her home to Texas. She practiced in Dallas TX for 15 years before moving to Riverton where she has practiced for the last 7 years.
Dr. Frost enjoys all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology and enjoys caring for patients of all ages. Dr. Frost maintains her board certification in OB/GYN by completing a variety of continuing education each year.
She majored in chemistry in college and was selected for an internship at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee. Although she enjoyed the internship, a job during college at a local hospital confirmed her desire to become a physician instead of continuing on to become a chemist.
Dr. Frost is the volunteer Medical Director for Abba’s House in Riverton. She and her husband enjoy camping, travel and observing and photographing the Wyoming wildlife.
Our goal with all of our centers in the area is to offer great healthcare that everyone can afford.
