Fremont County Sheriff’s Office released the following:
On Monday, September 23, 2019 Fremont County Sheriff’s Deputies located the body of 55-year-old Fremont County man, David P. Hubble whom had been missing for several days. David Hubble was found near his “Arctic Cat” UTV, in the bottom of a steep ravine near Grand Cedars Road south of Lander, Fremont County, Wyoming. It was apparent to investigators that the UTV had rolled over while traveling off road, on a steep sidehill. Investigators noted that it appeared that David Hubble was killed in the crash after having been ejected from the machine as it rolled several times into the bottom of the ravine. The crash scene was several hundred yards from any roadways and was obscured from view from all directions until very close to the cene.
The Fremont County Sheriff’s would like to extend our thanks the Fremont County Seach and Rescue Volunteers that spent countless hours searching for Mr. Hubble over the last several days. The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office and Seach and Rescue members extend our deepest condolence to the friends and family of David Hubble in this difficult time.
Investigation into the cause and manner of death of David Hubble is being conducted under the authority of the Fremont County Coroner and further details will not be released at this time.
